Rethink Waste Community Presentation Now Available
Ever wonder what’s up with the recycling symbol on your Styrofoam take out container? Or why we don’t recycle lids and caps? The new Rethink Waste Community Presentation is a visually focused power point presentation that covers these common questions and more. From what can and can’t be recycled locally (and why) to local options around composting and creative ideas for reuse, this covers a wide range of information to get you on the right track to reduce waste and save resources. Here’s an overview of what the presentation covers:

- How Nature Does It
- Why Should We Rethink Waste?
- Reduce
- Reuse
- Recycle
- Compost
- Household Hazardous Waste
- Find A Recycler or Reuser
This hour long presentation is free and available for community groups, organizations or a gathering of friends and neighbors hosted in someone’s home. It can be adapted for a shorter time length, to focus on a specific topic, or geared towards the particular interests of the group.
