Trout Unlimited (Deschutes Chapter)

Trout Unlimited’s mission is to protect, reconnect, restore and sustain North America’s trout and salmon fisheries and their watersheds. TU accomplishes this mission on local, state and national levels with an extensive and dedicated volunteer network. TU’s national office, based just outside of Washington, D.C., and its regional offices employ professionals who testify before Congress, publish a quarterly magazine, intervene in federal legal proceedings, and work with the organization’s 152,000 volunteers in 450 chapters nationwide to keep them active and involved in conservation issues.

Oregon Wild

Oregon Wild works to protect and restore Oregon’s wildlands, wildlife and waters as an enduring legacy for all Oregonians. Founded in 1974, Oregon Wild (formerly the Oregon Natural Resources Council or ONRC) has been instrumental in securing permanent legislative protection for some of Oregon’s most precious landscapes, including nearly 1.7 million acres of Wilderness, the forests that provide drinking water to communities like Bend and Portland, and almost 1,800 miles of Wild & Scenic Rivers.


Oregon Natural Desert Association

With more than 4,000 members and supporters, Oregon Natural Desert Association (ONDA) protects, defends, and restores Oregon’s deserts through both advocacy and restoration work.

Oregon Environmental Council

A nonprofit, nonpartisan organization with more than 1700 members throughout the state. OEC advances innovative, collaborative solutions to Oregon’s environmental challenges for today and future generations.

Oregon League of Conservation Voters Education Fund

Oregon League of Conservation Voters Education Fund works to increase the political effectiveness of Oregon’s environmental community by educating, training, and coordinating citizens and organizations. OLCV Education Fund is dedicated to giving Oregonians the knowledge and skills they need to be effective advocates for the environment. OLCV Education Fund also educates elected officials about environmental priorities.
