Naomi Serio

Naomi joined The Environmental Center as the Rethink Waste Program Coordinator in September 2024. Prior to joining TEC, she worked as an applied researcher at the University of Oregon, studying forest management and ecosystem resilience. Naomi also has experience teaching middle and high school science. She received her M.S. from the University of Washington’s School of Environmental and Forest Sciences and her B.S. from Pitzer College in California. Outside of work, Naomi enjoys trail running, backpacking, reading, and spending time with her husband and pup.
