Lindsay Knight

Project Zero Intern - Youth Education

Lindsay is a PGE Project Zero intern in the Youth Education program at The Environmental Center. Lindsay was born and raised in Bend, Oregon, and grew up exploring the immense beauty that Central Oregon has to offer. She is thrilled to work at an environmentally focused non-profit organization and to learn more about sustainability through TEC’s wonderful programs.

She received a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a minor in Environmental Studies from the University of Washington in Seattle, and in college, focused her studies on the relationship between people and nature, environmental justice, and sustainability. In her role at The Environmental Center, she has been working closely with the Youth Education team to deliver youth summer camps over the past couple of months, and she will be working in schools this fall to present the EarthSmart series to elementary school students. She is passionate about connecting with others on the importance of protecting our environment for future generations, and she is excited to work with youth to learn more about our planet together.

In her free time, she loves to be outside, whether participating in sports like horseback riding and kiteboarding or exploring the world through hiking and travel.
