Having been raised by homesteading hippie parents, her Oregonian and Native roots grounded her close to this land with nature as a consistent sanctuary. After living in NYC and traveling the world as a professional makeup artist, she returned to Central Oregon to be close to family, and joins The Environmental Center board in an effort to contribute to our world’s sustainable future. With experience across non-profit and social justice work; Fortune 500, fashion, media and beauty industries; and as a serial entrepreneur, at times Nic’s path seemed to be without trail markers, but that dynamic range echoes core themes that circle back to her roots. Her passion for neuroscience and psychology is a natural complement to her lifelong work around social change and is what gets her fired up!
