COBA Tour Of Homes Features Energy Efficiency

Jul 16, 2015 -

The Central Oregon Builders Association (COBA) Tour of Homes starts this weekend! The tour will be held July 17-19 & 24-26, Fridays from 12-6 pm and Saturdays & Sundays from 10am-6pm. Admission is free, and you can view the tour home profiles online for a sneak peek.

This year, the COBA Tour of Homes has partnered with the Bend Energy Challenge in an educational showcase of energy efficiency. The following homes will showcase innovative technology you can include in an upcoming new construction project, or as a retrofit of your existing home:

Jim Guild Construction :: 1639 NW Scott Henry Place
SolAire Homebuilders :: 2481 NW Drouillard Ave
Neil Kelly Co. :: 61518 Skene Trail

Visit all three homes to get your passport stamped (available to pick up at the sites), and you’ll receive a free LED light bulb. You’ll also be entered to win great energy-saving prizes, such as a free energy audit from Neil Kelly Co.!

For all the solar superstars out there who are thinking about going solar, visit one of these homes this weekend to receive $200 off your solar installation, valid through September 1, 2015.

Come check out some of the finest homes in Central Oregon, and learn all about the latest in energy-efficient building. We have a feeling you’ll leave inspired. Hope to see you there!
