Here\, you will find wild landscapes\, ancient forests\, mountain streams\, wildflower-cloaked meadows\, sweeping views of the Cascades\, endless opportunities for recreation and solitude\, and a variety of native wildlife species. \nDespite the many values of this National Forest\, the Ochocos are under threat from federal and state proposals to increase logging and reduce public access on these public lands.
