The presentation will also cover all the areas that ISA Certifed Arborists actively manage the Urban Forest canopy. Lastly\, you will receive information on where to find an ISA Certified Arborist and some of the questions you can ask before you hire. \nCiara McCarthy is an ISA Certified Arborist & Municipal Specialist\, and ISA Qualified Tree Risk Assessor. Ciara owns ArborSurveys & Associates\, an Urban Forest Management consulting practice based in Bend. DESCRIPTION:Join Deschutes Land Trust and Carol Moorehead on a full moon exploration at Whychus Canyon Preserve. The Native Americans had names for each of the full moons—May is the Full Flower Moon. Come explore the canyon under the light of the moon using a variety of senses. We’ll listen for and\, if lucky\, even see nocturnal animals as we hike Whychus Canyon Preserve. Registration is required and opens 1 month prior to the event.
