SUMMARY:Ochoco Divide Cross-Country Ski Trip with Oregon Wild
DESCRIPTION:Level: Easy/Moderate (Advanced Beginner)\nDistance: 6 miles round trip\nElevation Gain: Minimal with a few moderate hills\nLeader: Pam Hardy & the Central Oregon Nordic Club\nLocation: Ochoco Divide (carpools depart from Bend) \nJoin Central Oregon Field Coordinator Pam Hardy and the Central Oregon Nordic Club for a cross-country ski adventure out to the Ochoco Divide to see some country that most people don’t even know about (even if they live in Bend!). We’ll meet in Bend\, drive out for a little high country adventure\, and return by dark. This trip is suggested for “advanced beginners” – you should be comfortable on cross country skis\, but we’ll be skiing along Forest Service roads that have been closed for the winter\, so the terrain won’t be difficult. \nRSVP here or below. Please be advised\, hike date and location can change based on weather conditions. \nHelp Oregon Wild continue to provide high-quality\, guided hikes into Oregon’s spectacular wildlands by making a small donation. Your support helps offset the costs of our hikes program\, and ensures we can all continue to explore and enjoy Oregon’s natural heritage. Suggested donation of $5 for Oregon Wild members\, and $10 for non-members. \nCross-country skis are not provided. Rentals can be made at Pine Mountain Sports.

SUMMARY:Rubbish Renewed Eco Fashion Show
DESCRIPTION:Rooted in a love of fashion\, an appreciation of art and a passion for the planet\, the Rubbish Renewed Eco Fashion Show is an annual fundraising event for Realms Schools (Realms Middle School and Realms High School).  Started in 2010\, this fundraiser features two eclectic\, wearable art runway shows (one that features local students)\, a live auction of runway garments\, a silent auction comprised of local sustainable donations\, a pop up “marketplace”\, featuring sustainable\, creative products from local artists\, local food (food trucks providing a variety of dinner choices) and drink. \nRubbish Renewed Eco Fashion Show fuses environmental responsibility\, funky fashion and community.  Join other socially conscious individuals for an evening of sustainable fashion\, showcasing styles that the future demands! \n1ST SHOW – 6PM (DOORS @ 5PM – ALL AGES)\n2ND SHOW – 8:30PM (DOORS @ 7:30PM – 21+) \nTicket info: https://rubbishrenewed.com/tickets/
