Each hike will be held twice\, once on a week day and once on the weekend. \nRegistration now open! \nBridge Creek: Sat\, August 4 and Tues\, August 14\nThis final hike provides another perspective on how our water is used and where it comes from…this time our drinking water. The out-and-back route takes us to a beautiful meadow where we’ll eat lunch and get a better sense of Bend’s water supply.

Our display will feature live insects (and crustaceans!) from local waters for you to look at under the microscope. \nDr. Jerry Freilich\, a retired aquatic entomologist\, will help you become better acquainted with the mayflies\, stoneflies\, caddisflies\, and a bunch of other aquatic invertebrates that live in our nearby waters.
