DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED DUE TO EXTREMELY HIGH TEMPERATURES FORECASTED! Please join us next week when hopefully it will be nice weather. \nJoin us in our Kansas Avenue Learning Garden this Tuesday (and every Tuesday through August) to kick off our weekly Happy Hour in the Garden volunteer series! Drop in anytime between 4-6 pm to lend a hand maintaining our garden\, and enjoy cold bubbly beverages while you work. Thank you to our June Happy Hour sponsors\, Boneyard Beer & Caboost Kombucha! \nNo experience or tools required\, though if you like to use garden gloves please bring your own. This is a family friendly event. \nCovid-19 guidelines as of :6/1/21 \n\nLimit of #20 volunteers at a time in the garden\, no registration required.\nHandwashing station and hand sanitizer will be available\, please use both as needed.\nMasks are no longer required outside. Please use masks if entering the building at this time.\nConsider bringing your own water bottle\, and a can koozie to identify your beverage.\nFeel free to email denise if you have any additional questions!

SUMMARY:Rescheduled Happy Hour in the Garden
DESCRIPTION:Join us in our Kansas Avenue Learning Garden for our ongoing volunteer work party series. In 2022\, volunteers contributed over 200 hours to help keep our learning garden maintained over the growing season. We couldn’t do it without you! \nThis event is open to all ages and gardening abilities! No experience or tools required. Beer and non-alcoholic beverages are provided for all who volunteer. Each event includes seasonal ongoing tasks as well as special projects as needed throughout the growing season. Volunteers are welcome to pop in for an hour or stay the whole time. No need to RSVP or commit ahead of time. (Pro tip – put the following dates in your phone calendar now – then when it pops up you can decide if it works out for you or not!) \nIn 2023\, Happy Hour in the Garden will once again run twice a month from March through October.
