In this presentation\, mushroom expert Bruce Newhouse will guide us in looking over\, under\, around and through western Oregon for fungi\, and get to know a few and what roles they have – especially in our forests. We’ll get familiar with the words “mycorrhizal\, saprobic and parasitic” and have some fun along the way. There will be some focus at the end on hunting\, cooking and preserving edible fungi\, since that is of such great interest to a lot of people.
