DESCRIPTION:Jodie Patterson explores the lithe art of Genderless Mothering – a unique form of social activism that embraces feminism\, Black pride\, and LGBTQIA+ activism. Patterson will share her personal story as a thought leader and mother of five\, and introduce attendees to The Human Rights Campaign for a comprehensive overview of America’s state of affairs on LGBTQIA+ issues. \nThis program is part of COCC’s Season of Nonviolence and is in partnership with COCC’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion. Season of Nonviolence is sponsored by First Story\, National Endowment for the Humanities\, Brooks Resources Corporation\, Cascades Academy of Central Oregon\, and Oregon Community Foundation — Casey Family Fund.
