DESCRIPTION:This fall\, the City of Bend’s Climate Action Steering Committee will present a Community Climate Action Plan to the Bend City Council for approval and adoption. The plan will serve as a roadmap in supporting our community’s path to a sustainable future\, in taking practical action across a wide range of sectors and activities\, and in achieving the goals of Bend City Council’s adopted Resolution 3044 – a 40% decrease in fossil fuel use by 2030 and a 70% decrease by 2050. \nJoin OLCV\, members of the Climate Action Steering Committee – Laurel Hamilton\, Eric Duea\, and Jamie Klopp – and City of Bend senior management analyst\, Cassie Lacy\, to learn about the climate action plan.
