DESCRIPTION:Oregon Just Transition Alliance is helping lead the Building Resilience Coalition! This coalition is made up of a broad group of climate and environmental justice organizations dedicated to making sure Oregon builds healthier\, more affordable\, and resilient communities that are not reliant on dirty fossil fuels. \nWe’re excited to announce the official Building Resilience Campaign Kick-off on Wednesday\, February 15th from 6:00 – 7:00 PM on Zoom. Being a “welcoming city” did not protect our community\, Bend City Council must DECLARE Bend a City of Refuge and Sanctuary for immigrants from all countries. Bend City Council must align with Governor Brown and all state leadership to uphold sanctuary for immigrants\, and protect our cities from sanctions while protecting families from gross violations of civil rights.
