DESCRIPTION:FoFF’s goal in this advocacy workshop is to help farmers get comfortable with one on one meetings with their legislators for the 2023 session. Come to this first workshop\, in a series of three\, to learn why it’s important to have a personal connection with your legislator\, what to expect when meeting with your legislators or staff\, what is most helpful to share in these meetings\, and how legislators consider personal stories from constituents in their decision making process. FoFF is partnering with Black Food Sovereignty Coalition to help you understand the importance of building relationships with your Legislators and using your voice to gain collective power.
