DESCRIPTION:This Spring Hike Series features the beautiful Skyline Forest. Join Central Oregon LandWatch for a nature hike in the sagebrush steppe\, Juniper woodlands\, and Ponderosa Pine forests along the base of the Cascades. Led by LandWatch’s naturalist Nathan Hovekamp\, you’ll explore the diverse landscapes in Bend’s backyard. \nThe details \nLength: 3-4 miles \nElevation gain: level\, close to no elevation gain \nConditions: Open and sunny (can be dusty); spring allergen potential \nParking: Less than a dozen spots\, permits not required. Carpool recommended. \nLimited availability to 20 attendees. Please limit your registration to one hike to accommodate all those interested.
