Beyond Toxics will take a deep dive into HB 2406\, Toxics Free Schools\, and share data from Northwest Center For Alternatives to Pesticides’ (NCAP) Schools Survey and Report\, created to monitor the integrity of the Oregon School Integrated Pest Management (IPM) law. They will also discuss alternatives to pesticides in managing school grounds and the importance of choosing preventative approaches to pest and weed management. This bill aims to create a path towards stronger School IPM laws in Oregon that prioritize children’s health and lest toxic pest management solutions.
