DESCRIPTION:The 2019 Bend High Desert Speaker Series wraps up on April 9 with a panel of experts discussing how high desert flora and fauna have adapted to survive in wetlands and other habitats in eastern Oregon. Hear from Ron Larson\, Dennis Albert and Steve Sheehy as they discuss the unique life of the high desert\, and the importance of conserving Oregon’s spectacular wild places so that these species can thrive\, now and always. \nDoors open at 6:00 p.m. and the presentation begins at 6:30 p.m. The presentation will be held in Worthy Brewing’s Hop Mahal room\, located in the far right corner of the main restaurant. You are welcome to have dinner and drinks in the restaurant prior to doors opening. This event is free and open to the public. Please note that space is limited and preregistration is required.
