DESCRIPTION:On Monday\, September 24\, come to the Museum to hear about the natural resource management of the Waters and Lands of The Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation of Oregon and the plan to manage those precious resources through the 21st century. \nWe will be joined by Josh Newton\, a Bend attorney focused on natural resource dispute resolution\, representing the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and Robert Brunoe\, an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and the general manager of the Branch of Natural Resources. As a member of the Wasco Tribe\, Brunoe will speak to the deep ties to the Columbia River and fishing culture.

Through the the eyes of chef-heroes like Anthony Bourdain\, Dan Barber\, Mario Batali\, Massimo Bottura\, and Danny Bowien\, audiences will see how the world’s most influential chefs make the most of every kind of food\, transforming what most people consider scraps into incredible dishes that create a more secure food system. WASTED! exposes the criminality of food waste and how it’s directly contributing to climate change and shows us how each of us can make small changes – all of them delicious – to solve one of the greatest problems of the 21st Century. \nWatch the trailer for the film\, then mark your calendars to come see it at Volcanic Theater Pub on September 24th\, and learn more about how we are trying to reduce and prevent food waste here in our own community\, and how you can too! \n$10 per person suggested donation.
