SUMMARY:KPOV Summer Youth Radio Camps
DESCRIPTION:Do you know an aspiring DJ between the ages of 10-14? Or someone who wants to have fun creating radio spots and a show? If so\, KPOV’s Summer Youth Radio Camps are just for them! \nThis camps will teach our community’s youth how to DJ\, interview friends\, talk on live air as well as tell a story with sound effects\, music\, and humor. What’s more\, KPOV will help this group produce a one-hour radio show that will be broadcast on 88.9! Each hike will be held twice\, once on a week day and once on the weekend. \nRegistration now open! \nTumalo Mountain: Sun\, June 24\, and Tues\, June 26\nWhat does our watershed look like from the air? Well\, we aren’t going to rent a plane but a hike up to the top of Tumalo mountain on a clear day will give us a birds-eye view of the source of the Deschutes River and its tributaries.
