DESCRIPTION:Join the Deschutes Land Trust and Mary Crow for a hike on the Lake Creek Trail at the Metolius Preserve. We’ll hike through the Preserve’s ponderosa forests and follow Lake Creek on our way to Suttle Lake. Learn about the fascinating plant life of the Metolius region where the wetter plants of the western Cascades blend with our drier eastside forests. Registration is required and opens 1 month prior to the event. Please register online at www.deschuteslandtrust.org/hikes. \nRating: This is a moderate to challenging\, ~5.5 mile hike.\nWhat to bring: Snacks/Lunch\, water\, sturdy hiking shoes.
