DESCRIPTION:Join us for September Green Drinks\, hosted by Kôr Community Land Trust! \nKôr Community Land Trust is a new nonprofit created to address the need for attainable housing in Bend\, Oregon. The housing Kôr provides will not only be attainable to low and medium income workers\, but will also preserve Bend’s beautiful natural environment. Kôr’s homes will be built to minimize energy and water use. This is sustainable\, AND will lower utility bills for the homeowners. \nThis event will be held at Armature Studio\, a creative space in the Old Ironworks district. Come learn more for yourself and find out how you can get involved! And don’t forget to bring your own cup. \nAnd please note: This Green Drinks event is happening in conjunction with Bend Energy Challenge Week\, so it is NOT the last Thursday of the month! DESCRIPTION:When:  Thursday Aug 11\, Tuesday Aug 16\, Tuesday Aug 23 and Tuesday Aug 30\, 5:15 to Dusk \nWhere:  Meet at the old Ray’s parking lot\, NE corner of Simpson Ave and Century Drive in Bend \nWorksite:  Varies \nThere’s only one thing better than mountain biking in Bend\, OR and that’s riding in Bend\, knowing that you helped build and maintain the trails you love. \nPlease bring a hydration pack with water and a snack. \nBe sure to bring appropriate layers to accommodate whatever the weather may be. \nQuestions?  contact@cotamtb.com \nAll COTA trail work events require the following safety measures: \nAll participants are required to have the following protective clothing and equipment: \n\nSturdy shoes or boots\nGloves\nEye protection with clear or light colored lens\nLong pants\n\nDue to COTA’s insurance requirements and the inherent dangers of trail work\, we must implement the following policy regarding children at work events: \n\nFor anyone 14 years of age or younger\, we require one parent\, guardian\, or responsible adult for supervision of every four kids attending any COTA trail work events.\nAll minors under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian available to sign our waiver.\n\nAnyone who arrives for a work event may be turned away if he/she cannot meet the above requirements.
