SUMMARY:Field Investigations and Stewardship
DESCRIPTION:Dates: August 18-19 \nGrade Level: 9-12 \nLocation: Skyliners Lodge with field trips additional locations \nJoin the Children’s Forest and spend two days learning about land use issues in Central Oregon\, engaging in stewardship activities\, and connecting with natural resource experts and fellow educators at Skyliners Lodge.  This workshop is designed to empower high school teachers to get students outside and to get involved with real community partners to build opportunities for students to engage in field investigations and stewardship activities on their National Forest.  Activities will focus on NGSS standards for High School and will integrate Project Learning Tree’s secondary modules.
