SUMMARY:Green Drinks at Saginaw Sunset
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Green Drinks\, the bi-monthly gathering to learn about local businesses and their sustainability efforts while enjoying an eco-conscious drink or two! This month’s event will be held at Saginaw Sunset\, a brand new Bend community built by Jim Guild Construction with some serious sustainability ambitions. The development is centrally located\, allowing for easy walking and biking around town\, and features solar access. Come check it out! \nIn addition to touring and learning about the unique aspects of this new green development at Saginaw Sunset\, Environment Oregon will be joining us to share more about the Go Solar\, Oregon campaign and their efforts to pass four bills this session that would bring 10 times more solar to Oregon. \nEnjoy a truly green drink by bringing your own cup and consider alternatives to driving alone such as carpooling\, walking\, biking and transit. \nQuestions? Contact The Environmental Center. \nDirections/ Transit Tips:\nDirections: The address for Saginaw Sunset is not yet recognized by Google Maps\, as it is brand new! Head north on College Way.
