DESCRIPTION:July 2\, 8am-4pm\nJoin the Deschutes Land Trust and Daniele McKay for a hike through glacier-carved valleys and\nvolcanic craters at the Metolius Preserve. We’ll start at the Metolius Preserve and make our way via the Lake Creek Trail\nto Suttle Lake and then on to Blue Lake. Stops along the way will explore how fiery volcanoes\nand glacial ice have shaped the Cascades. Registration is required and opens 1 month prior to\nthe event.\nRating: Challenging\, ~10 mile hike.\nWhat to Bring: Snacks/lunch\, water\, sturdy hiking shoes.
