DESCRIPTION:Join the Deschutes Land Trust and Carol Moorehead for a hike to Alder Springs and then beyond\nto the confluence of Whychus creek and the Deschutes River. We’ll hike from the top of the\nCrooked River National Grasslands through sun-warmed sagelands that give us our first spring\nwildflowers. See white sand lilies\, yellow bells\, spring gold and more as you hike down to Alder\nSprings itself. Then\, follow Whychus Creek to its confluence with the Deschutes River. \nRegistration is required and opens 1 month prior to the event. \nPlease register online at\nwww.deschuteslandtrust.org/events. \nRating: Challenging\, ~8 mile hike.\nWhat to Bring: Lunch/snacks\, water\, sturdy hiking shoes\, water sandals for creek crossing.\nDress for the weather.
