Michael McLandress

A backcountry skier, cyclist, fly fisherman, music lover and yoga practitioner, Michael is a virtual junkie when it comes to his hobbies. He has over 30 years of experience as a construction manager, and has a keen passion for green building. He owns and operates Brightwater Collaborative LLC, a construction and project management services company consulting as an Owner’s Representative on community-inspired, publicly-funded projects, as well as large commercial, and residential projects.

Prior to his private consulting business, he managed several school construction projects for Bend LaPine School District, including Miller Elementary School, a LEED-Gold Certified school. Michael is a past board member for Kor Community Land Trust for eight years, and served as Vice President of the Deschutes Chapter of Trout Unlimited for five years. When not focusing on his vocation or hobbies, he can be found hanging out with his trusty four-legged friend Skye, a smile-inducing and heartwarming English Springer Spaniel, or working with his brothers on their small family cherry orchard in Wenatchee, WA.
