The Environmental Center provides interactive, hands-on activities and lessons that focus on waste reduction, resources conservation and sustainability. All lessons are FREE, and correlate to the Oregon Education Standards. Get involved and help create EarthSmart students.
EarthSmart Presentations
Our EarthSmart classroom presentations last between 45 and 60 minutes, and all of them can be adapted to a variety of audiences and schedules. Download our EarthSmart Presentation Flyer to read descriptions of presentations you can choose from.
EarthSmart Kids Community Connections
Once a month we visit your classroom and provide fun, interactive and hands-on lessons, from October through May. To enhance your students understanding, we also provide trips to the Water Source, Water Treatment Plant, Landfill and an Outdoor School Day.
