OREC provides free renewable energy assessments and low-cost energy audits for rural small businesses and agricultural enterprises in South-Central Oregon.

REALMS is a public charter school for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who are seeking a small, active, and challenging educational experience.

Located along the Deschutes, River Song School is a non-profit providing a nurturing Montessori experience for children ages 3-9 years old.

Nature- based preschool, childcare , and youth summer camp program. Part of a 6-acre homestead where students raise farm animals and organic gardens. We plug in to nature, not TV.

Offering interpretive exhibits, public observatory, educational programs, botanical garden, nature trail. Our program leaders provide a fun and thoughtful view of our natural environment.

Embedding Sustainability into daily life in Central Oregon.

We translate sustainability into practical action in order to create a healthy future for people and the planet.  Our programs incorporate education and advocacy to advance our vision of a sustainable Central Oregon. They include: zero waste of materials, energy and water; advocating for a regional public transit system; youth education; advocating for and supporting sustainability initiatives by local governments and businesses, and operating a community campus that demonstrates sustainability in action. 

We are dedicated to protecting and restoring the 2,100 miles of rivers and streams that flow through Central Oregon.

We promote education of the healthiest lifestyle, a plant based diet for our bodies, our world and all creatures who share it. Monthly potlucks, programs, films, etc.

Waldorf’s art-based, nature-focused experiential learning curriculum nurtures the head, heart and hands of preschool through middle school children in Central Oregon.
