2011 Sustainability Award Winners Honored Oct 13, 2011: The 2011 Sustainability Awards were announced today by The Environmental Center at a celebration at The Oxford Hotel in downtown Bend. The Environmental Center received 24 nominations and the winners were selected by a community review committee.
Nominations for the 2011 Sustainability Award are now being accepted Jul 26, 2011: The Environmental Center is now accepting nominations for the 2011 Sustainability Awards. Nominations will be accepted through August 31st. Awards will be given to a citizen, business and organization (agency and nonprofit), that is leading the way to a sustainable future in Central Oregon.
Environmental Center receives funding for youth education program Jul 01, 2011: The Environmental Center, a nonprofit organization working to embed sustainability into daily life in Central Oregon, was recently awarded two grants totaling $12,485 to support their EarthSmart Kids Outdoor Education program.
Bag It! Film Screening May 16, 2011: The Environmental Center brings Bag It! the movie to McMenamins for one night only on May 25th.
