Writing from Place - Metolius Preserve

Join the Deschutes Land Trust and national author Mary Sojourner for a Writing from Place workshop at the Metolius Preserve.

Reeds and ponderosa, red-tailed hawks and woodpeckers, lizards and salmon, we'll let the land tell us its stories and have more than enough inspiration for our writing.

Plan on walking a little and writing a lot. Writers are free to read their work if they choose. Workshops are geared toward beginning writers and those writers who want to move into writing about the land.

Rating: Easy, minimal hiking

What to Bring: Bring lunch, water, pens, notebooks, and camp chair if needed. Dress for the weather.
