Writing from Place for Families

Join the Deschutes Land Trust and national author Mary Sojourner for a Writing from Place workshop at Camp Polk Meadow Preserve.

Reeds and ponderosas, red-tailed hawks and woodpeckers, lizards and salmon, we'll let the land tell us its stories and have more than enough inspiration for our writing. Plan on walking a little and writing a lot.

Writers are free to read their work if they choose. Workshops are geared toward beginning adults and kids and those writers who want to move into writing about the land. Bring your own pens, notebooks, and camp chair if needed.
