Writing from Place for Families

Join the Deschutes Land Trust and national author Mary Sojourner for a Writing from Place workshop at Camp Polk Meadow Preserve.

Reeds and ponderosas, red-tailed hawks and woodpeckers, lizards and salmon, we'll let the land tell us its stories and have more than enough inspiration for our writing.

Plan on walking a little and writing a lot. Writers are free to read their work if they choose. Workshops are geared toward beginning adults and kids (ages 10+) and those writers who want to move into writing about the land. Bring your own pens, notebooks, and camp chair if needed.
