Carter Niemeyer is the author of "Wolfer, A Memoir." Hear the fascinating story of Carter Niemeyer’s amazing career as a wolf trapper for Montana’s Animal Damage Control (now Wildlife Services) and his personal transformation over a lifetime to become wolf recovery expert.
In 2000 he became head of the Wolf Recovery program in Idaho for U.S. Fish & Wildlife Services, and since retiring in 2006 he’s been putting radio collars on wolves for the Idaho Dept. of Fish & Game. Find out how Mr. Niemeyer sees the role of wolves in Oregon and the West from his decades of keen observation.
