Trout Unlimited is hosting an upcoming brown bag presentation and we would love to have you there.
We have been working with a team of graduate students from the University of Michigan to study the economic value of the Deschutes River corridor and its water. We are excited to share results, and we are interested in your feedback. Our hope is that this study will spark a deeper dialogue about the importance of the Deschutes River in our regional economy, and the services it provides to our community. Please save the date and share this flier with your staff that might be interested (see attached).
To help guide this study, we have been working with a great team of stakeholders from a diversity of regional organizations. Together we welcome you to join us. The team of graduate students will be presenting and sharing their results. Results are very interesting, and will help us consider options and economic potential when we consider future management of Deschutes River water and our economic priorities. As we review this study and share it with the broader public, your perspective and insight is critical. Together we must make tough decisions as our region grows and our climate changes.
An executive summary will be printed and available during the day of the presentation, and the full pdf will be available.
Light refreshments will be available.
