The Deschutes Land Trust and Bend Parks and Recreation have teamed up to offer a series free of hikes in Skyline Forest this fall.
Join Karen Parker for a hike up Three Creek Butte in the western corner of Skyline Forest. We’ll enjoy the spectacular views, an early fall sunset, and get a firsthand look at the forest the Land Trust is working to protect. This is a fairly steep hike similar to Pilot Butte in Bend.
Rating: Difficult, 2 mile hike.
What to Bring: Dinner/snacks, water, a headlamp or flashlight and sturdy hiking shoes. Dress for the weather.
