Mountain Bike Ride - Skyline Forest

Join the Land Trust and Erik Long for a 10-15 mile mountain bike ride in Skyline Forest. This ride is open to bikers who are intermediate to advanced* and will be a great way to explore some of the current trails and imagine the great trail network possibilities if the Land Trust can protect the forest.

*Riders should be in good physical condition, at least intermediate skill level, comfortable riding in areas of loose dirt and sand and over small obstacles in the trail such as rocks and vegetation.  The ride is a mixture of single track and old logging roads with a few steeper climbs and descents.    Expect trails to be a mixture of hard-packed single track and loose, sandy soil.  Total climb is approximately 776 feet, depending on route.  Total descent is approximately 757 feet, depending on route.

Rating: Difficult, 10-15 mile ride.

What to Bring: Your bike, helmet, a bike repair kit and plenty of water and snacks.
