Meet Your Farmer Dinner

Central Oregon Locavore and Cascade Culinary Institute are holding a Meet Your Farmer Dinner. The featured farmer will be Rainshadow Organics Farm and the featured menu will be “Rooters and Tubers.”

Meet Your Farmer dinners are a wonderful way to actually meet your local farmers! Meet Your Farmer dinners consist of a locally-sourced, gourmet meal prepared by the wonderful students & staff at Cascade Culinary Institute. A four-course dinner will be served at Cascade Culinary Center's state-of-the-art restaurant, Elevation. During dinner you will be treated to a presentation by the evening's featured farmer.

Sarahlee Lawrence of Rainshadow Organics, a family run farm on 27 acres located just outside Terrebonne will be at the event to talk about their farming practices while diners will be treated to a meal made from seasonal ingredients.
