Join the Juniper Group on November 8 for a presentation by The Deschutes Collaborative to hear about local efforts to support steelhead and salmon restoration in local rivers.

Representatives of the Collaborative, a group of four Central Oregon organizations protecting land and restoring rivers for steelhead and salmon, will give an overview of their successes and challenges on local rivers, including Whychus Creek, the Deschutes, the Crooked and the Metolius.

They'll also discuss the economic and social impacts of these restoration and conservation efforts in the Deschutes Basin. Q&A will follow the presentation. Presenters include Zak Boone of the Deschutes Land Trust, Tod Heisler of the Deschutes River Conservancy and Chris Gannon of the Crooked River Watershed Council.

Bring your questions from the October film night to this presentation and Question and Answer session with representatives of The Deschutes Collaborative, a group of four Central Oregon organizations protecting land and restoring rivers for steelhead and salmon.
