Prepare yourself for new Green Jobs with this nine-month specialized training opportunity for
working professionals including Architects, Engineers, Home Designers, Tenant and Developer
Representatives, Construction and Capital Project Managers, Building Operators and other
Building Industry Professionals. The course meets monthly (October 2011 through June 2012)
in all-day Friday and Saturday sessions at COCC and designated field trip locations. Come to
this informational meeting to learn how this course can help you to:
- Identify and articulate key sustainable building practices (residential & commercial)
- Apply LEED, Earth Advantage, Energy Star and other established guidelines
- Evaluate sustainable building measures for specific projects
- Assess the credibility of new information and technology
- Develop a network of colleagues and regional resources
- Meet education requirements to take the LEED Green Associate (GA) exam
- Earn AIA and other professional continuing education requirements
