EARTHSMART PROGRAMS

EarthSmart offers free environmental education programs to schools, community groups and other youth organizations in Central Oregon.  The services can be adapted to a wide variety of audiences, schedules and locations.

  • Classroom Presentations include hand-on activities and lessons that focus on waste reduction, resource conservation and sustainability.

  • EarthSmart Grants provide funding for schools to start up, improve upon, or maintain their current waste reduction programs.

  • Oregon Green Schools program is a statewide recognition program that provides schools with realistic steps to implement and maintain successful waste reduction programs and recognize achievements.

  • Additional Resources can be provided to teachers and community members through our website, our monthly EarthSmart e-news, or by contacting us.  If you would like to be added to our monthly EarthSmart E-News please let up know (sent during the school year only).

What kids are saying...
"Now I know more about recycling, like what products to recycle and if you don't have a recycle bin, you could just make one out of a box."
